The raffle will take place when we hit 1000 friends...only 588 more to go! It will go much faster and you'll have better odds if you have your friends and family become friends, too! Good Luck!

Macular Drusen
Macular drusen can be one of the earliest symptoms of macular degeneration. Macular Drusen can be defined as small yellow spots in the eye which indicate damage to the retina. Wearing sunglasses, eating green leafy vegetables, not smoking, and taking the appropriate vitamins can help prevent drusen and the progression of macular degeneration. - Heather, clinical technician

Cinco De Mayo
Happy Cinco de Mayo! It is celebrated nationwide in the US and regionally in Mexico. Contrary to the popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day (Sept 16). On May 5, 1862, the Mexican army was victorious over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla. So today, we celebrate Mexican heritage and pride, and to commemorate the cause of their freedom and democracy.

Relay For Life
Our office participated in Relay for Life this past weekend. There were feelings of joy and optimism as we watched the courageous survivors walk, combined with sadness and reflection as we remembered our loved ones who have lost their battle. It is empowering to think about the positive impact of this event – to know that we are helping future generations, our children, and that together we might just help find a cure for cancer!
